also, just wanted to add a few things God's been teaching me lately..
it's easy to be lazy and i've been lazy with a lot of things especially language learning.. the the other night in my quiet time i read the verse "whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men" in colossians 3:23 and God reminded me that with everything i must do my best. He's also shown me that the way that we grow up doesn't have to determine what kind of person we will be. it's easy for me to say that i can't learn the language as well as others because i have a learning problem, but to say and believe that means that i don't have faith in God to help me through it. it means that i'm trying to do it on my own and that's not how God wants it to be. so, from now on, i will do my best and i will trust in Him to push me farther than i know i could normally go by myself. that doesn't mean that i'm going to be fluent any time soon, but at least i'll know that i'm giving it my all.

You only had a learning problem when you were really young. You did well in school.
