university focus

universities have started back up again so i'm going to put some information on each university that i am going to so you guys can know how to pray for each one.


the first one is: obirin university.

obirin university is a christian university and new freshmen have to take classes on the bible. however, hardly any of the students are christians or become christians.

there is a chapel on campus but most students go there only if they have too.

please pray for this university. that God would open up doors; that students would be open to learn about the God that the university was founded on.



as of right now, there are only a few students that we know and we know them only because eileen introduced them to us before she left. eileen did a bible study with a group of girls. in this picture are 4 of them. 2 of the 4 are christians. there are also some others that aren't pictured that were in the bible study too. hopefully megumi, the second girl on the top left, will lead the bible study now that eileen is gone.

please lift up megumi as she leads the bible study. also pray for the other girls that attended the bible study, that God would continue to teach them through His word.

also, pray for nikki and i as we go to the university each week. pray that we trust in God to lead us and open doors to reach the students.
